Affiliate disclosure
Last updated:
Wine Guide is free to read. To cover the cost of writing and running the site, we take part in affiliate programs, including programs managed by the Awin network.
How it works
When an article links to an online shop and you buy something after clicking that link, the shop may pay us a commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had gone to the shop directly.
Affiliate links usually appear on product cards with a “Buy now” button, and they are marked in the page code as sponsored links (rel="sponsored"), as search engines require.
What does not change
- Retailers do not pay to be featured and do not choose what we recommend.
- Commission rates do not influence our rankings or assessments.
- We also recommend wines that earn us nothing when they are the best choice.
Samples and gifts
If we ever receive a wine free of charge for review, we will say so clearly in the article.
Prices and availability
Prices and stock are set by the retailers and can change at any time. Always check the final price, shipping costs and terms on the retailer’s website before buying. The purchase contract is between you and the retailer.
